Beyond Softball Camp

Kayla Padroff brings a wealth of experience and a passion for softball to her role as Director of Beyond Softball Camp for the Summer of 2024. With a background steeped in both playing and coaching, Kayla has honed her skills on the diamond and in mentoring the next generation of softball players.

As a player, Kayla had a remarkable two-year run at Cheshire Academy, where she secured the WNEPSAC championship in both her junior and senior years. This early success propelled her to Springfield College, where she continued to shine as an impact player, notably as the starting third baseman. Her collegiate career culminated in postseason play in the NCAA tournament in 2016. In her senior year, Kayla earned the prestigious NEWMAC All Sportsmanship Award.

Transitioning seamlessly from player to coach, Kayla returned to her alma mater, Cheshire Academy, as an assistant coach, contributing to another WNEPSAC Class B Championship victory. Her coaching prowess caught the attention of Kent School, where she served as assistant coach for the Class A defending champions for two seasons, further solidifying her reputation as a coach of excellence.

Kayla’s coaching journey continued as she assumed the role of Varsity Head Softball Coach at Loomis Chaffee School for two successful seasons before returning home to Cheshire Academy, where she currently leads the varsity team. Her commitment to the sport extends beyond the field as she serves on the Executive Board for NEPSAC Softball, advocating for the growth and development of the sport at all levels.

In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Kayla has dedicated herself to nurturing talent through camps and private lessons, imparting her knowledge and passion for softball to aspiring athletes.

As Director of Beyond Softball Camp Summer 2024, Kayla Padroff is poised to inspire and empower the next generation of softball players.
